Kathmandu: Barcelona have been held to a draw by Galatasaray in the first leg of the Europa League pre-quarterfinals.
Turkish club Galatasaray held Barcelona to a goalless draw at the Camp Nou on Thursday night.
Barcelona put Galatasare under pressure but could not find the back of the net. Barcelona made more than a dozen attacks on Galatasaray's post but failed to score.
Galatasaray goalkeeper Inaki Pena thwarted Barcelona's attack. With this draw, both the teams have equal chances to reach the quarterfinals.
The second leg will be played on March 17 at Galatasaray. The winner of this game will advance to the quarterfinals.
