KATHMANDU: The UAE have beaten Namibia in the third match of the triangular ODI series under the ICC World Cup League-2.
Kashif Daud scored the most unbeaten 76 runs for UAE. Similarly, Basil Hameed contributed 62 runs while Aravind contributed 19 runs. Jane Nicole Loftie-Eaton scored 16 for Namibia. David Wiese scored 67.
Jan scored 57 runs but the team lost. Zahoor Khan took the most 3 wickets for UAE. Junaid Siddiqui took 2 wickets. Oman currently tops the points table of the World Cup League-2. Oman has won 15 out of 25 matches and lost 8 matches.
The UAE are third in the table with six wins and four losses from 12 games. Namibia have played 11 matches in the World Cup League-2 so far. Namibia has risen from fifth to fourth place in the table.
UAE will play against Nepal and Papua New Guinea (PNG) after this series. In the first match of the series, Nepal will play against PNG. The match between Nepal and PNG will be played on March 16 at Sharjah Cricket Ground.
Nepal will play its second match against UAE on March 18. Nepal's third match will be against UAE on March 21. Nepal will play its last match against PNG on March 22.
