Two historic records were made when World Cup winner Enzo Fernandez join Chelsea

Enzo Fernandez, a young star from Argentina who won the World Cup in Qatar, has been signed by the English club Chelsea at an expensive price. Last night, Chelsea signed him from Portuguese club Benfica for a record fee of 121 million euros. Currently, Fernandez has arrived in the UK from Portugal and is undergoing a medical examination as well as completing the paperwork. 

As the January window period is coming to an end, the deal between the two clubs for the purchase and sale of players has been finalized. Chelsea has been showing a serious desire for the Argentinian player since the beginning, and the deal was finalized last night.

22-year-old center midfielder Fernandez has been a shining star at the Qatar World Cup. His performance during Argentina's World Cup triumph was spectacular. He scored a famous goal and won the best young player award of the tournament.

Chelsea have yet to make an announcement as of press time. However, he will announce the Fernandez contract after the completion of the process including medical examination. Fernandez has a contract with Chelsea until 2031, with former club River Plate receiving 25 per cent of his transfer fee.

The 22-year-old became the most expensive player bought by any Premier League club after Chelsea spent €121 million on him. Previously, no club in the Premier League had signed any player for more than 100 million. Chelsea, under the leadership of the new owner, has set a new transfer record by signing Fernandez for a record price.

Second record - 22-year-old midfielder Fernandez has now become the most expensive player in the history of his country Argentina. Fernandez is the first player in Argentine football history to be sold for such a high price. No Argentinian player has ever been transferred for such a huge transfer fee. This record is now made in the name of Fernandez.
