After defeating India, Nepal entered the final of the Women's U-20 Championship

After defeating India in the decisive match, Nepal has entered the finals of the SAFF U-20 Women's Championship.

Nepal made it to the final after beating India 3-1 in their final match of the league in Bangladesh's capital Dhaka on Tuesday. Nepal overturned a 1-0 goal in the match and won the comeback.

India took the lead in the 21st minute of the first half. For India, the goal was scored by Apurna. Nepal managed to equalize in the third minute of the second half. Anjali Chand scored at the empty post after receiving a ball that the Indian goalkeeper could not clear well.



Nepal took the lead in the 69th minute. Captain Priti Rai scored a penalty to give Nepal a 2-1 lead. Before that, Nepal got a penalty after an Indian defender fouled Deepa Shahi. Amisha Karki scored the third goal for Nepal. She scored a brilliant finish with a minute left in the match.

With the win, Nepal has added 6 points in the league stage. Now Nepal will compete against India or Bangladesh in the final on Thursday. Today, after the match between Bangladesh and Bhutan, the other team that will reach the final will be decided.

India has 4 points after the last match. Bangladesh also have 4 points before playing Bhutan. A draw is enough for Bangladesh to reach the final. India will have to wish Bangladesh a defeat.
Earlier in the first match, Nepal was defeated by host Bangladesh 3-1. In the second match, Nepal won 4-0 over Bhutan. Bangladesh and India played a goalless draw in the tournament.
